OK -- I think I need intervention. I'm just addicted 
I innocently went into the Habitat store, looking for a couple more milk crates for the chickens. None. But there they were -- 3 laundry baskets of heirloom, organic SEEDS.
What was I to do??? Of course I needed to "look". These were sell by 12/18...fresh ! They were literally jumping out at me. They wanted a home, not to feel unwanted.
Anyone ever raise strawberries from seed? How about asparagus? Yeah, and a "few" other things....only 36 packs. At least they didn't have the ones I just had sent from MPS. Hey, for less than $4, how could I refuse? There are probably 400 more pkgs there...no, I won't return for them Sure hope Spring hurries!!!

Sorry -- company I ordered from My Patriot Supply. they were having a clearance, so many seeds at 29-59 cents a pkg. even with shipping, it still was only 50-80 per pkg. Many sold out, so some limited selections.
I did have an all veggies meal tonight.
I will definitely eat what I grow -- & share with goats, chickens...no pigs right now but, they loved all of them.Lazy Gardener

What a steal! I love the habitat store, but have not gone there in a good long while b/c I don't need any more building projects, and hubby would not be a happy camper if I brought home more building supplies.

The University of NH/Extension folks are giving away seeds to schools, 4H, etc and homeschoolers count! I just got 20 free seed packets! Mostly flowers, some veggies and herbs. Yes!!

Oh! Ok! I ordered some seeds from them, too. Got them for 75% off. Cant beat that. They came today. I'm going to try to get some seeds started this weekend. Grandbabies went home last night, we've had them a week. I slept in, just exhausted. The 2 year old doesn't sleep, if that hangs on into adulthood, she could turn that into a positive thing. But my guess is that it will vaporize when she's a teenager. LOL
