FEM, yes Maverick is a big boy! He weighs 113 pounds.
Both of the dogs have settled in nicely and are enjoying all of the room they have to spread out. Maverick will be 11 years old in May, and has really slowed down this year. Unfortunately he is not enjoying all of the room to run around like Liberty has been. Makes me sad to see my pup slowing down.
Today, we finished emptying our PODS. They will finally be moving out of my driveway on Monday!
This week, I also got my brooder set up for the chicks to come in April. Currently waiting on some lumber to be delivered to build a chicken coop.

Things are moving along!!

It's always hard to see the slow down. BTDT My last little house dog was 15 and slowing for about 6 months. One morning, she was gone. Doggie Heaven. Sure miss my friend. It's been over a year and I just haven't been able to consider another. 15 years is a long time. At 11, a big dog -- hug him every day!!

I agree that it's hard to watch them slow down. Hope he's around with you for a long time. Congrats on making progress and it'll sure be nice to watch those Pods go way!

Mini Horses, you know and I know that when you get thrown off a horse, you get right back on. I know how bad that you miss your friend. There is another one out there that needs you. It's time.

@baymule -- you're right, it's about time. I am waiting for 2 things. Weather to clear up and my heaviest work schedule slacks back down in June. Then, I will have time to devote to hugging & training. :) Summer will find me a new buddy. This time, may go with a bigger breed :idunno Just depends on who falls my way -- :caf

I am a believer in "things fall into place" and they do. When it is right, it will happen.
