Efficiency is good!
But:
Ya can't feed two at a time (unless you're nursing and really good at holding two. But when they're ready for solid food it can only be staggered. One spoonful for this one and the next spoon full for the other. And during the time the other one is being fed - the OTHER one is screaming because they're hungry. Can't diaper two at the same time no matter how dexterous you are, and can't dress two at a time!
Two may not take twice as long - but it sure does take longer than one. And, when you get one asleep - the other wakes up. I've spent lots of time with twins. (thankfully NOT my own!)
But - it certainly can be done and quite often is. Double trouble, double stress but more importantly double love!

Silas: I want oatmeal with strawberries
Me: we don't have strawberries
Silas: fine I want cereal with strawberries
Me: we don't have strawberries
He is now pouting because we dont have strawberries

I have half of a #10 can of freeze dried strawberries in my pantry - plus 2 more cans in the basement. I wish I could "beam" some over there for his breakfast! (we had Star Trek on last night)
I like strawberries and don't like to run out. Not as good as fresh, or even as good as fresh/frozen, but they last for years. They are good rehydrated or eaten dried as a crunchy snack. When we lived in Wyoming, we stocked up on alot of freeze dried goods. They are good for camping meals and for those times the weather had the roads closed and I couldn't get to town.

So just to add to the joy of morning sickness and nausea that come with pregnancy I get to have a wisdom tooth pulled.

ya i'm supposed to get all of my wisdom teeth out but its just too expensive. so i'm just going to get them out as i can afford it.
