I'm sure they will be more satisfying as now I will have more time for planning and new ideas lol. Such as now that I will be buying the lumber for the greenhouse and barn the logs that I had for milling the lumber for those projects will now be milled for lumber for a deck and gazebo for the wife. I haven't told her yet though lol

It's always nice when you have some help.

As for big plans for the summer, IME... the more I cogitate on "my plans", the better the results.

I think it through, and come up with an easier "how to" idea, a better design for function, or completely scrap the whole idea and move on to plan B. Often, when my hubby digs in his heels at some of my "plans", I mull it over for a few days, and in the end, I thank him for his timely intervention. Just recently, his request that I NOT enlarge the garden, forced me to re-think my garden use. I've undertaken a complete garden revamp within the existing foot print, and am delighted with the results. It's almost 1/2 done, and will require yet a lot more work to finish the job. But IME, the finished results will be much more pleasing, and infinitely more functional.

Take it slow with your hand injury. Those things take time to heal. Any idea how you got the infection in the first place? Cellulitis? Wound? I am a huge fan of wearing gloves when ever working outside. Once had a nasty bacterial/fungal infection in a nail bed from working bare handed in the soil. Felt like someone was driving bamboo skewers under the nail. So... you have my sympathy.

Your current antibiotic regimen may weaken your immune system. So take extra care to protect yourself until you are well and truly over this issue!!!

It started with a scratch on my leg that I didn't know was there at first. But what ever type of bacteria it is took full advantage of the opportunity. It went from my leg right through my groin making certain things quite swollen and walking extremely painful.

YIKES!

Sounds like a rip roarin' case of cellulitis. It can start from the tiniest little breaches in the skin, and even with no apparent injury at all.

just got my eviction notice! The hospital is kicking me out today

Looking forward to getting home. The new Tom came yesterday he has a temporary home in the feed shed right now. When I get home today I'll get to wear the white supervisors hat lol. My mother in law and father in law are coming to help for a few days so I will put him and my brother to work lol
It's great to have help especially family. I very grateful to have them!
First order of business when I get home will be to get the boys started on a new turkey pen. Added bonus to my brother being here he has gas powered post hole digger so the fense will go up fairly quick.
