Idiots are idiots.

Eat what you like.

Plant what grows in the local climate. My grandpa tried unsuccessfully for decades to grow peanuts in Eastern Oregon because he grew up in Missouri and they grew and ate a lot of them. They won't grow in Eastern Oregon climate.

I'm still hoping to get a peach tree to grow - but I know I am 1 ag zone too far north.
Come on Climate Change! (not really, I will just have to buy Michigan peaches)

I've been working for years on finding the foods that will grow easily in my area. We have a tough time, because frost can hit us during any month of the year. Tomatoes are a luxury, and I'm trying to learn to cook without very many of them, because otherwise I'm dependent on long-distance suppliers.

Likely hasn't grown a garden in her life. And what's so bad about being "colonial"? Got this country established, didn't it? Isn't that why all the folks from her origins are wanting to come here?

Meh, hopefully that politicians star will burn out quickly. I think the antics are a planned diversion, a coordinated thing.

I live in NE Ohio, why can't I grow tropical fruit here, it's so unfair. LOL

When I lived in the Bay area in CA, I moaned and sighed because I couldn't grow rhubarb, and some of the fruits I wanted to grow required more chill hours than we had. Now I sigh and moan because I can't grow tomatoes without taking inordinate care to protect them... Never Satisfied, lol
