They have been kicked out of the house, and will live between garage and outdoors until they get planted. I usually have to plant my tomatoes in a deep trench. Anywhere a stem touches the ground it will root anyways, so it really doesn't mater much.

Finally starting to feel better after 2 weeks of the funk. I knocked my 100x50 foot champion weed garden down today with my son-in-laws help. And a weed wacker and push mower.


Son-in-law found a rabbit nest in the garden, while he was running the push mower.

Then we found 3 more. We put them in a cage until we were done.


Then we put them back in the hole that momma rabbit dug for them and covered it back up with the tuft that was in the hole. We hope that momma will move them tonight. If not then my youngest daughter is going to take them and raise them. They seemed solid and healthy.

White star on forehead makes me wonder if they are not crossed between domestic and wild rabbits.

Most wild rabbit are born with a spot on the head - it generally fades with maturity. If the white spot is still visible - as in the ones you found - usually indicates they are not ready for weaning.

Our plan worked, I pulled the tuft back this morning and they are gone.

That's fantastic! Glad there was a happy ending.

That's funny the white patch on their forehead means milk.

I can't win for loosing with my summer garden. We had strong thunder storm last night also. No drought here that's for sure.
