Did you try shampoo to get the blood out?

It works better than anything else for blood on fabric. All my wool garments are superwash, but you use cold water for blood removal anyway. I've never gotten blood on any of the sheepskins in my house so haven't tried it on them but it should work. Just have to use fingers some. Dish soap is what works for any food stains. My recliner is covered and accidents do happen when there are cats and dogs around.

No, I didn't think of shampoo. I'm going to try washing one more time after smoking. Blood came out of the others okay. If it doesn't come out, I guess it will get a trim. Thanks for the tips.
