Sunny but it is cold. 33 this morning, breezy, 50 but didn't feel like it. Supposed to get down in the upper 20's tonight. No snow, had 1.6 inches rain the other day. You can keep the snow. But we would be better with snow than rain if it gets any colder because it is not as hard on the animals if it is snow instead of cold rain that soaks through and chills every inch of the animal.

Footboards were originally used to drape the heavy rugs over that people used for warmth. Then the sleeper was able to rest, with toes pointed up instead of crushed downwards by the weight of the covers. Sleeping with toes pointed down leads to charley horse leg cramps.

It warmed up a bit here. Cowhide is off the bed because it will cook me.

We're looking at mild temps and no rain for the next several days. Staying at or above freezing for lows. Low 50s for highs. Nice weather even though it will be overcast.

About half the snow melted yesterday. Couple of Alberta Clippers blowing through the next few days to bring some small general accumulations.

Retired guy up the street used his snowblower the other day on the driveway. Cookies and peanut brittle are in their future
