Whatever happened to good old fashioned killed virus vaccine?

i don't know in this specific case, but i do know that in some other cases that trying to grow the organism in question can be difficult. i also know that they may not work as well or may actually cause the disease trying to be protected against.

Properly used, Killed virus vaccines cannot cause the disease they are intended to create an immune response to. If they did, then people would never get a tetanus shot or a rabies shot. The biggest drawback to killed virus vaccines in cattle is that the initial immune response will not be that strong.... they require a 2nd dose for the increased acceptable level of immunity response.
The type of vaccine that they are presently talking about, with the recombinant RNA or however you spell it, has not been shown to be well utilized in humans as was mentioned in a post a few pages back. This gives me double cause to be very leery of it.
I have not seen where the immunity will last past 3-4 months. I have read several articles here lately that say that if you get it that you will have the chance of a good immune response for 8 months or more according to studies done on people that had it early on in this break out last winter. And that the "experts" are expecting that the body may well be able to "remember" this virus into a year or 2.
I am also so upset that even after that Dr Pierre Kory, and all the pages and hundreds of peer reviewed researchers and doctors, went before the Senate subcommittee and basically begged them to look at the ivermectin trials, that it has not made the slightest ripple in the mainstream media..... No one is saying.... hey, let's give this a shot in a trial too...
They can keep the vaccine.... I will try some of the less "acceptably touted" simple and easier forms of prevention that won't hurt me at this point.
I may live to regret that, but I also think that when it is my time, it won't matter what the current pandemic is or the politically correct stance is.

Eloquently stated, Jan. I've pointed out the Ivermectin studies as well as the Hydroxychloroquine protocol on FB repeatedly. And, every time I make the least mention of these well received and successful treatments, the thought police shut me down. Interestingly, these medications are being used in other countries with good cure rates, and no adverse side effects. I'm hearing plenty of reports about folks dropping dead within a week or two of having a covid shot.

The European nation reported that 23 elderly people have died within days of taking the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, with 13 of those deaths said to be related to "side effects". All those who suffered supposed side effects were nursing home patients and at least 80 years old.

Pharmaceutical firm Pfizer - whose vaccine is also being distributed in the UK - said it is “aware of the reported deaths”.

A spokeswoman for the company said: "Norwegian authorities have prioritised the immunisation of residents in nursing homes, most of whom are very elderly with underlying medical conditions and some which are terminally ill.

"(The Norwegian Medicine Agency confirms) the number of incidents so far is not alarming, and in line with expectations.

"All reported deaths will be thoroughly evaluated by (the agency) to determine if these incidents are related to the vaccine.

Seems REAL convenient that co-morbidities are being blamed for these deaths after the vaccine but were entirely discounted during the scamdemic as being the chief cause of why the elderly succumb to the virus. Just as many elderly die from flu related symptoms each year....but it's not called a pandemic when that happens all around the world every single year.

Oh, Bee... there you go being logical again. YEP. Let's give the covid vaccine to the frail elderly, and even those who are considered terminal. If they die after the vaccine... their death was not related to the vaccine. But... if they just happen to test positive for covid (with a pcr factor of 45!!!) and die b/c of their many comorbidities... then, their death was CAUSED by covid... even if they happen to be asymptomatic for covid.... oh... wait... looked at the nine mile long list of "signs" of covid recently? According to that list, I should be hiding under my bed EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! And, should be rushing out to get tested EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!

Logic??? Isn't that an archaic term for something that no longer exists in our current world? The elderly are being exterminated, plain and simple, under the guise of "protecting" them.

Yes, that list just grows and grows wherever it's convenient to add a new symptom. Started out like the flu but now one can blame high cholesterol, heart disease, seizure disorders, COPD, diabetes, etc. on Covid. Just not after they've had the vaccine for it....then those are merely pre-existing co-morbidities that were killing them anyway.

the thought police? no, just tons of actual research that showed that the chloroquinine meds didn't have any beneficial effects.

so far there has not been any supportive studies for the dewormer either, but they've not wasted millions of dollars on that yet, but i'm sure when the bill comes due for all these studies (via the form of higher taxes) many people who were pushing for such things to be done will complain or blame it on more government conspiracies or corruption.

the new case rate in MI has come down to about where it was in early to mid October and the hospitals are doing much better and not plugged up in the ICUs - hopefully they can get the overall rate down more before the new variants get widely distributed. we'll see.

still in MI they've managed to get at least half a million people vaccinated with the first doses here and i'm not seeing news reports of complication rates - so i'm still ok with it. also not sure how many of those have gotten their second dose but i expect it will be quite a few since i heard someone i know got their 2nd shot.

line me up and stick me like a pincushion, please, asap.

bye.
