Nice one 👍 I've not ever been successful growing califlower. Every year it gets to hot to fast and they bolt. If you don't mind me asking... What zone are you in and what is the variety?

Thanks

Just looked from outside the fence.

Yesterday, there was a nice walking path between these two rows of zucchini and butternut squash. Today the walking row is over grown with squash vines. It's going to be fun harvesting squash 🙄.

@Trying2keepitReal is cabbage the same way? Just want to grow it for the chickens. I do not eat that either lol
Not from my understanding, though I don't grow it as I don't ever seem to get a head to form or grow. @CrealCritter will be able to shed some more light on cabbage, his is AMAZING

Well, my 72 cell of different lettuces, down the drain. Next year. Still waiting for my pumpkin seeds fromPuerto Rico. They were last picked up on June 7th in PA. What's the hold? ARGH! oh, well. Done for the day outside. I was under the sun but it was not hot. I still do not like the sun,lol

Zone is a very cold 4 but probably closer to 3. The zone charts I have seen are typically off by at least one full zone warmer than most areas actually are. I don't know the variety as it was a 6 pack I picked up back in March in Walmart.

I eat it raw. It is closer to cabbage. I have never noticed a burning plastic smell with broccoli.

It is neither bitter or sweet to me.

Raw is the only way I can eat cauliflower. I like it just fine raw. I absolutely hate the taste of cooked cauliflower. That means I avoid all the stuff in the stores that use cauliflower in place of rice, potatoes, and bread.

I should eat more cauliflower instead of those starches, but I can't stand it. Okay raw or the whole roasted head thingie
