i hate cleaning so much that i had breakfast and went back to sleep and then when i woke up i laid there for an hour pretending i was asleep so i wouldn't have to get up. to put an end to the shenanigans i just got up and told myself i am not cleaning today so at least i can do something else. yes, really... hope y'all have a nice day.

The idiotic weather... that I have decided to be passive aggressive and highly grumpy towards (for what else can I do, having completely failed at weather manipulation) hit 35, so that the snow turned to heavy slush, then it dipped back to the 20s... for "the weather" has clearly decided that my world should be coated in ice.

Heading into the home stretch before the wife's surgery. Went to the butchers yesterday. 2 lbs of bacon prepped and in the freezer, 6 pounds of stew meat (beef vegetable soup in the small instapot) vacuum sealed and in the freezer. 15 pounds of ground beef, some in meatloaf, most will be browned and vacuum sealed for quick use (spaghetti sauce, chili, Mexican dishes, etc.).
Hopefully in March and April I can use up stuff in the freezers so I can go crazy and stock them up again

This week's warm weather has been eating at the snow. Driveway in good shape and can start to see patches of grass again.
Odd thing- since it got warm, the birds have left the thistle feeder alone. Where I had to fill the feeders up every 3 days, the birds have barely touched them this week.

My freezer would take a week to empty to just inventory 
Been eating from it all winter but a couple "can't turn down" meat sales came up. I'm just gonna keep forcing self to eat solely from pantry & freezer. Good position to be in, I guess.

Up at 5:30 this morning. Much, much better than yesterday. First cup of coffee almost gone and 2nd on the horizon. Beautiful weather expected today with a high of 72 today.
