Lorihadams-- hi guys...been busy!

thanks! they are so stinking cute! I went out there and that little white one outside the box with Sweet Pea is the one that I rescued on the cold day...she/he is just a little spitfire. Will not stay in the nesting box! They are still pretty little but growing well and starting to squeak!

I enjoyed the pics of the buns much more than that of the goat butt!

Do you have new goatie babies now?

She kidded at 2:45 Tuesday!!! I went out to check on her and the baby had just hit the ground and was tangled in the fencing in the kidding pen. A few tense moments cause her front legs were both stuck pretty good but I got her out and she just had the one! Everyone...please meet Swingin Tree Farm Little Lizzie!

we put her out in the pasture for about 30 minutes of supervised time with mama and the other does. My other two does, one pregant (hopefully) and one not are head butting like crazy so I sat in the pasture with them to make sure she didn't get hurt. I think she was glad to be back in the kidding stall when I put them in again.

In other news we got gravel for the driveway and picked our first strawberries from the garden today!!!

We took her out into the pasture today again and she was popping around like popcorn! I love babies!!! and the bunnie babies are getting big enough now to try and venture out of the nesting boxes some and they are cute too...

today I have been cleaning like a madwoman for company coming this weekend while the kids worked on school stuff on the computer and I am just finishing up the last load of laundry and the line is full so it has to go in the dryer for a bit but it's towels so I won't dry them all the way I'll just hang them back in the bathrooms so they can finish drying in there. I hate using the dryer.

But I got everything dusted, swept, mopped and presentable for the grandparents and MIL. Now the kids are outside in the sandbox and I'm catching up here. I have to find a recipe for my fajita marinade for dinner tonight.
