Well, Today is the 21st day of December at 12:14 pm. I was hoping to check my gnomen but the sky is densely over cast and no sun shadow is available.
Gladys is producing a bit less now...about 4-5 quarts per milking meaning per day.
Weather hovering around the low 30's but often above 32*F...
OK, so Daisy tells us about the southern hemisphere. I am in the northern hemisphere and the stars are quite different here. I actually did spend some time in the southern hemisphere although not in Australia. I was in Diego Garcia which is a microscopic island in the Indian Ocean.
Given that...
The three vertically arranged stars are Orion's belt. Turn your head 90 degrees and you'll see Orion rising in the east. He is in the right spot. This star is just to the south of it as you describe in your drawing.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this...thought I was going nuts for a...

It's 16*F tonight. Brrr. Had to let the dogs in.
Winter is trying to decide whether it wants to stay or not. We had two weeks or so of heavy snow and temperatures in the teens.
Cow now on once a day. That makes my life a lot better.
Covid seems to be plaguing the world...out here on the farm...
Weather has been good again for a few days. Don't expect that to last, but it sure has been nice. 50's today.
Gladys is behaving again...finally! 1.51 gallons this AM. Have gone to a OAD schedule. I like that a LOT better. She may prefer it now but at first she wasn't very happy about that...
Not much to report today. Weather has been great.
Milking is going well, production down to 2.5 g/d.
Back is ok but being careful what I do.
Hope all are well and happy.
Cheers

Things have actually improved with Gladys. (My cow)
I figured out she didn’t like the smell of the corn. I put feed only in her bucket and now she comes regularly. Hasn’t missed a milking since I changed the process. I installed a holder for two 15 quart over the fence type feeders today. I...
WW bakes it in the oven. Then scoops it out and puts it in the FD trays. No special treatment that I can tell you. Last batch took 46 hours to freeze dry.
Hope that helps.
Well the year is advancing despite all the hype. The garden is winding down and the preservation work is in full swing.
Finally found a teenager who is willing to work and she spent four hours helping me yesterday. Good worker. I’ve been keeping her family supplied with milk for the past two...
G'day Mates,
Looks like the problem I had was because the site was down rather than ransomware pirates...I'm actually really glad to know that.
So much has been going on in my life over these past several years. It's really hard to know where to begin.
I'll take it one step at a time and sooner...
I applaud Britesea for looking it up. She showed the kind of initiative we need now. Others just expect it handed to them. Not sure what to say about that in diplomatic terms. Britesea’s answer was close., but not quite accurate.
The message states essentially
“we’re Being overrun...bring...
Be absolutely certain that your LML is complete before the election results are known.
I’m reading things about people who want to contest the election results and are threatening to start civil war if they don’t like the results.
Mr. Podesta is leading that movement along with HRC.

Hello hqueen,
Long time since we last talked. I guess you’re still near gunpowder falls.
I am still in SDAK.
Lots of changes since my last post.
Been milking a Jersey for nearly three years. Part of my self sufficiency approach.
Just thought I’d say hi!
Cheers
