Thank you yet again. I have wood chips that I use for my chickens. Can they be grown indoors. I seek around for info on this . I'd love to make a start. :)

I haven't got access to any good leaves. I'll have to wait too see if this straw and wood chips will help. I got some good roots of red potatoes from a local farm with no chemicals. So want to find a way asap. I've lost loads of good seeded pots trying too work this out...

Thanks very much for your valuable advice. I will speak to the farmer that supplies my straw, it looks perfect. I found a really good way to store it now, it used to get damp in my make shift greenhouse so was wasted. I now use a screw on top bin and it looks as fresh as the day it arrived...
