Yep, that is a snow berm on the side of the driveway And because the Sandhill cranes have been seen... Spring is now official, even with all of that snow!

Snow in small doses does make it more pleasant!! ;) I have heard reports that Sandhill cranes have been spotted! The tidal marshes are free of most snow, and that is where they are feeding.

I am excited! Warming up! The high on Saturday will be above freezing, and Sunday I think 38, and FOURTY degrees on MONDAY!!! Whoot!!! Pig pen cleaning on Monday!!!

Definitely nice and sunny. I can no longer sleep until 9, even when I want to.... I am starting to wake up at 6... Sun is so shiny and bright, it is always finding a way past my blackout curtains.

Well... starting to slowly... there were slushy spots on Sunday, but now it has firmed back up, so now a few spots are icy. It should be mostly gone in a month.

We follow the time zone of Juneau, which is close to the west coast of Canada. So we are actually only one hour after the west coast of the US (California, Washington, and Oregon)

I once lived for 9 months or so without a fridge... it was kind of entertaining... Without a fridge there were always ice chunks in the milk. But once summer started to show up, it was time to get one, and by that time we had saved up enough money to buy one. So yes, I feel your fridge joy...
