No real rain in the forecast this week. They always say there's a chance of a random shower - but those random showers never make it to my house. Dry, dry, dry! Eighty degrees before 7am with 98% humidity. Ugh!

Early last week the forecast was for our area to get 5 - 7 inches of rain throughout the week. We got less than half an inch.... We're now under a burn ban. Probably should have been for weeks now.

We do enjoy it. It is the plant that keeps on giving for sure. And, weirdly enough - no other farm animal loves it. The chickens will eat the seeds if I open the pod for them - but that's about it. Oh - and the leaves - goats love the leaves.
