i have similar conversations with Mom. i try to tell her that if she waters properly then things will do better because deeper roots mean the plants will be able to ride out these hot spells better.

i reach a point where i get rather nauseated so i try to stop before i reach that stage of being. i'm not in this world to be miserable. until i acclimate more i'll hang out in cooler spots. hopefully in a few more weeks i'll have a few more degrees tolerance.
@frustratedearthmother so sorry for the tree trimming expense, but i sure do understand in wanting to be pre-emptive if you get to foot the bill for repairs.

some melon and squash seeds got planted today and i finished up using all the worm compost buckets so now i need to restart those when i get a chance.
