    FarmerJamie - A new beginning

I don't have exec membership cus we no longer buy as much as we used to 15 years ago. But I do go there for the coupons about once a month. Their mushrooms are waaaaay cheaper than grocery stores. We don't eat much pre-prepared food. But their gas prices are the best around. $4.69 for regular...

    Daydreaming while waiting impatiently!

I'm assuming progress for him! Will he sit in therapy without you? Or will you be present? It will be interesting.

What did you do in your garden today?

I'm really tired of my garden. It was a struggle to keep things alive, and now i'm just done with it all.

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

I don't want dry. I know I complained about the rain last winter, but I've never lived as an adult where it rains sooooo much!

Washlets are becoming more popular so you can convert to a bidet and then go back to a toilet if needed...

On the Reddit prepper sub, thousands have advocated a bidet. With zero not liking it. You still need a tiny bit of TP, but nothing like normal people. With my EPI in check, I'm no longer worried about the septic. But it was horrible and I was worried that we'd have to pump it sooner than later.

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

I was reading about the hurricane that was hitting the eastern coast from NC up. We are going to get rain here starting tomorrow. Good rain. The most since last spring. Over the coming week. Not looking forward to soggy doggies but my foundation plants need the water.

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Whenever we visited my Grandparents in NJ on Barnequet Bay, we always went crabbing, fishing for blow fish, and even clamming with our toes in sand bars. Great memories.

Hubs is/was a painting contractor for over 30 years. Residential only. I am clearly color impaired since he can see colors with backgrounds and shades, like your wife, but I can't. Looks gray to me. Looks blue to me. Looks taupe to me. One thing that he does is do half or quarter formula on...

    FarmerJamie - A new beginning

I'm frugal and since we over paid for this place a year and a half ago, I'm always on the hunt for deals. Last weekend at an estate sale, we bought, on the last day, a Kenmore Elite front loading washer and dryer, with matching pedestals, for $200. They work. They are from 2018, and the lady...

I immediately "saw": 1. extension of the front door stoop. Run it along the front, kinda like a veranda. Don't need a roof yet. But def a TREX deck. 2. Shrubs, low growing, next to the new deck. 3. Replace the irregular shrubs on the right (lower level) and make it a swooping interesting place...

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

Our rain starts this coming Sunday. I can't wait to turn off all the irrigation, and I'm hoping to weather (pun intended) this rainy season better than I did last one (my first one).

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

I had an ekg at my annual Medicare check up. All was well. I go to a PA and he no longer "likes" me cus I ask questions, require answers and submitted a complaint about how he just disappears after the appt. No good bye, hand shake or nuthin'.
