They wouldn't tolerate the matching hat. I haven't had a silkie that really liked hats at all. I've seen people get their uncrested breeds to keep them on long enough for a picture. Only Ashes would let me clip any hat to his head and he wasnt happy about it. He was very tolerant of my posing him.

Well he's a blue partridge, not splash. I'm a little disappointed but hes still pretty. It's amazing how fast they change at this age. One of my questionable chicks is a definite boy now. I think the other is too. I'll know in a week I think.

No one has patience for pictures like a silkie. I think their annoyed faces when I keep touching them to move just right or look at me are the best. They have to raise their head and tilt it to give me the evil eye.
