I've had a Medicare Advantage plan for a few years. When we moved up to Vancouver WA, the plan moved with me, but all of our specialists are in Portland OR. I have Health Net by Wellcare.

On Wednesday, I noticed that Maverick smelled not so good. It bothered me for a bit. So on a break from the Master Preservers class, I looked at his leg. Swollen, red, smells. Called my regular vet and got an appt to drop him off Friday morning.
Of course, neither hubs nor son were available...
I so understand FJ. My friend in Asheville said they were crying wolf again, and now she and her hubs have had to rely on others for food and water.

At the Master Preservers class yesterday, we were learning about dehydration and how one can slice, dehydrate and then powder pumpkin. The eating kind. Then you turn the powder into pumpkin pulp by rehydrating and make a pumpkin pie!! Who knew??

Mavee (Maverick) got thru the surgery for his leg. They put in a plate and 7 screws. We pick him up tomorrow (now today) a.m. at 10:30.
