    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

I'm good on feed and hay. I'm really glad I don't have lactating does right now because they need so much water. I'll be hauling enough as it is! I got gas the other day, but I found a couple more empty cans I can use. I'll go ahead and fill up the generator and that'll empty another can...

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Doc appt. went well. Doc is really pleased with DH's progress! He actually forgot his cane and had to walk with just my hand on his arm. That's pretty darn good considering that he was mostly in a wheelchair several months ago! Next follow up in 3 months. PT continues and he's doing well...

    What's for dinner?

Probably "throw together" soup tonight. Chili going n the crockpot tomorrow. In this part of the world brownies are a requirement for all major weather events. Therefore, there might be baking happening soon! :hide

Yea...we're getting a big ol' winter storm. Rare occurance here - or least it used to be. More and more lately... We're even predicted to get ice and/or snow. South of Houston - come on!

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

@The Porch - thanks! It has been a beautiful day so I took advantage and was outside nearly all day. We've got the first hard freeze of the winter headed our way. Needed to get some preps taken care of. So far- so good. Just hope I'm not forgetting anything! Shouldn't have any babies due...

    What's for dinner?

Sauteed some red, orange, and yellow sweet peppers with some purple onions, mushrooms and garlic. When those were mostly done I threw in some shrimp. Oh my! Scrumptious!

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Ugh, didn't get anything of significance done outside today. However, I did get some things taken care of. Had to get my truck inspected. Done. Needed to pick up grain. Done. Needed shavings. Done. Needed a few things from the grocery store. Done. We have to get out again on Friday for...

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

Thanks for the suggestion but - nope, this battery is less than a year old. After starting it, I did notice that the stupid lights were still blinking. Pretty sure the switch is bad. I'm going to have DS disconnect them the next time he's here - or I guess I could just cut the wires myself...

    Frustratedearthmother's Journaling Journey

I'm so stinkin' proud of myself I could just spit...(except I don't spit). Yuck! But, anyway - a few days ago my tractor wouldn't start. I dunno if I left the key turned on or - the stupid blinkers like to turn themselves on occasionally and I've never figured out the right combination to...

    Charlotte rose?

If you Google "white roses" you will find tons of white roses. There are also Charlotte roses but they appear to be yellow "Rosa 'Charlotte' is a compact shrub rose with an upright habit and lush green foliage. In summer it bears masses of cup-shaped, soft-yellow flowers with a strong...

Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

DH is a UT grad. He was disappointed and more than slightly annoyed Ya'll outplayed us for sure. Ewers has been a good q-back for the team, but why not use our great backup q-back when Ewers was faltering? I guess I'll never understand the mind of a coach. :hu
