A photo of our bounty from wild foraging...mushroom hunting. the Shrooms were absolutely plentyfull this time, the photo presents a crop of a 3-3,5hur of picking, and we were VERY picky of what we were picking, normally it would be double that in that time...

I would LOVE to get my hands on some good pork, BUT when I talk to farmers on the phone or on Internet, they say they do not have the facilities which you need to butcher one for sale (A farmer can butcher one for his personal use). And they are not going to risk a poop load of money in fines...
Farmfresh, yeah but the thing is, that he is only willing to sell them at those 25kg.
Thanks a lot ~gd, for that info, after you said it, I did a little research about it.

OK.... I said it wrong, I want to buy them finished, just to pack em into the freezer... He says that they are about 10-12kg now... and they will be ready in early dec maybe earlier at 25kg.
Hi there, didn't post anything for a while here. So I need to ask you folks.... I am pondering that idea of getting some turkey for the freezer. I was talking to a farmer on line, and he says, he is gonna have those turkeys butchered at around 25kg of live weight. Is that even a possible weight?

don't go that way... if it is rock as in big pieces of stone, then it will be a total pain in the backside to heat it. think about it this way... in ecological buildings, they put stone walls INSIDE as a heat mass collector but it really is not such a great idea to put it on the outside unless...

1 acre can produce probably...

EDIT:

I wasn't sure what was the proper translation for a "leśniczy" and the dictionary spited out a wood wanderer, and that term nails it. What you need to understand is that over 80% of the forests in Poland are government owned forest. Since the government actually tries to make the best use they...
