I went to hang out with some SCA friends today and thought the wind was gonna knock over. Finally found a sunny spot against a tree and we sat there.
One of them was teaching me the basics of embroidery. It went okay, so far.
I want to see some of those flying deer. Or the rain clouds they travel in, if they arrived that way. :lau
Hubby used to see some of those invisible critters too. He was telling his Mom their were giant pigs in the woods back in Georgia for years. Then somebody killed Hogzilla and...
Hello :) Thanks for the advice. I bought my crowns last spring. Since they are all I have, I'm gonna enjoy them. Nothing to compare them to may help. ;)
We have heavy clay here, so I mix lots of compost into the raised beds to help it.
Tried a campfire (had a hibachi grill) pizza twice before. It burns on the bottom too easy.

Spoken instructions don't work well for me. Things get...
Welcome :frow Sounds like you did a good job setting everything set up at your place.
We lived off grid before, but the place was already built by somebody else. They designed it pretty well, except the previous resident carried in their water. We dug out a seep spring, but still had to...
I liked getting their bulk herbs- spice & medicinal and they have their own generic/store brand line that was pretty good. Being willing to cook helps. The ready to eat stuff can drive the bill up fast.
:thumbsup If you have wood tools- keep your eyes open for any pieces that would make good cutting boards, or a pizza peel. Maple is good for that stuff and they are $$$ in the stores.
Pretty sunset!
I like that cabin too. Those overhangs probably helped lots with passive cooling.
He was some politician. He gave them the land- got paid to build the place, - then it was given back to him afterwards to use for his big family. Sweet deal.
