Thank you! I have used those styrofoam cups for years so I don't feel too bad about adding to the landfill. Last year I started them in January and it was way too early so this year I held off until the 1st of March.

If your chickens are out free-ranging could they be laying somewhere you are not looking. If they are new to your property they may have found a great nesting spot. Just a thought!

Actually the midget whites were exactly what I was looking for. They seem to be a good size for my family and being a smaller bird I figured they would eat else. Where are you located?
