I've noticed over the years that more and more people are "sensitive" to perfume/colgne/etc... I stopped wearing any awhile back - NOT because I don't like it or can't tolerate it myself, but because I don't want my friends or family to be uncomfortable when I'm around because they can't breathe...
I roll mine out on my lightly floured counter - and I lift and flip & turn as I go so the tortilla doesn't stick. My counter top is linoleum with a slight "texture" and it works okay.
