she was a lovely pig, clean & tidy, easy going, not pushy or demanding... and quite tasty lol I wish we had kept her for breeding stock - her get would probably have been easy to handle as well. We will go back to her breeder when we are ready for our next.

Elijah, Regarding the size of the wood that you burn in your stove (when you get one) as long as the wood will fit into your stove allowing you to close the door securely, it should be okay. However, make sure the wood is seasoned or it won't burn well and I think will leave more soot build up...

I'm not a hunter (yet) - but common sense dictates that if I don't have a CLEAR shot, I will not take the shot. Here in Arizona, it is illegal to shoot into brush, tall grass, trees, etc... Since nobody got hurt, I guess the end justifies the means. Alls well that ends well, right? :)
