They are so adorable :love please post as many pictures as you want, I don't think any of us get tired of them. Their little sweaters just make them even cuter.
I am only on 2 acres and we are looking at Nigeran Dwarf goats for our place. I can't wait and hope to see some more improvement in my daughter once we get to milking our own.
Pneumonia must be going around this year. I just finished up a battle with it as well. I did not have it as bad as you though. I only had it in my right lung and did not have to be hospitalized. I got sick December 20th and just got back to normal around Jan 17th and every week I feel better...
My hubby found a piece of property across from his aunt and uncles farm, 96 acres and was really excited. I checked it out and it was $3 million dollars. I mean I could have all the goats I wanted, but $3 million????
So that got me to looking and I found a beautiful log cabin on 10 acres not...
I can totally understand! I am just glad you made it through and everyone looks happy and healthy. I just wish it was warmer for you and them. I know I would be out in the barn all day if I had those babies, but it sure would be hard in this weather. In my coop this morning the temp was -1.7*...
They are so adorable! Congrats again. I love the goats in coats.
Oh and my daughter's name is Leah, I am thinking that means maybe I should buy that one from you. :D
I posted here the other day and then forgot which section it was in and didn't subscribe.
BBrooks, I have read up on raw milk an that will be our next venture. Unfortunately it is illeagal here in Ohio so we are going to be getting our own goats. But, we want to get our debt paid off...
My kids and I both wear snowsuits or carharts when it is this cold to go do chores. I have actually worn long underwear under my clothes to work when it gets to below 0. 30 or 40 would feel like a heat wave to me right now.
Your smilies are so funny.
I can't believe how cold it is outside today. Our digital thermometer in the coop didn't register this morning but my phone said it was 4*. But channel 4 says it supposed to be in the 40's starting Sunday :ya
I am so excited to see your babies. I don't think I work too far from you if you need any extra help
I know you will keep us updated as you can, I hope all goes well.
I was offline all weekend and just wanted to say congratulations on the new babies. They are so cute!!
Aggieterpkatie thanks so much for that write-up, it was very informative and I appreciate it.
I just wanted to chime in that I have been reading and enjoying this post as well.
Some positive changes for our family have been that my daughter is no longer on ADD meds. I thought that we were giving her a proper diet when she was little as in we didn't do sweets hardly ever, no chips, no...
Thanks for letting me know that, I figured it was something like that. Good luck to both of you with your upcoming kiddings. I will be watching and waiting for pics.
That goat sure looks like she could be hiding a couple more babies in there. Since I am don't have any goats can someone tell me if that is normal? How long before her belly starts to shrink?
SD and Java good luck with your upcoming birthings. Java, I saw that our weather was supposed to get...
