For breakfast we have no set tradition,..its usually pancakes, or waffles, or biscuits & gravy w/eggs. We do have a BIG breakfast either way, because I only cook a big Xmas eve meal, Xmas day we eat leftovers. That way I have more time to play with the kids new toys!
Another form of punishment for us who choose to stay at home and not work. Some people just can't get why would you stay at home and not make any money??? :smack
This is so true,...I would probably be one of those wasting a lot of time if I could,. :D It is bad enough now. Very good point Pat,..thank you for pointing that out.
As far as asking someone who has it,..around here you are lucky to find someone who owns a computer,. :idunno They aren't real...
I believe it has been bad everywhere the last few days. My kids had school one day this week and it was on a 2 hour delay. They are off again tomorrow due to 6 inches of snow,..lucky me,.. I know I grew up here and we never had "snow days". That old school bus would come rattling up...
Right now I am stuck with dial-up internet service,..which I am not real happy with. I have been looking at the satellite internet providers like Wild Blue and Hughs Net,...my question is does anyone here have one of these service providers and if they do,..well,..is it worth it???
I hate phones,..landline or cell no matter. I have both, why? I have a TracFone,..the best idea going in my opinion. I leave it turned off at all times not unless I need it in an emergency. My landline,..I would LOVE to get rid of it. DH doesn't like the idea, he acts like it is a terrible thing...
Yea that was just a trial run for now,..1 gallon won't last long here either,.. Next time I'll make 5 gallon,...but not honey mead,..honey costs way too much and the honey harvest is too far off,...going grape next,...:)

Just because a person "assumes" someone doesn't have money due to what they drive or where they live,..well they could be SADLY mistaken. I know a man that is driving a truck who looks like it come from a junk yard,..no I mean reallybad,...he "looks" to be poor,...BUT he has one of the biggest...
Well, if it is something you are interested in, it will come in time. My son loves hunting, but he don't get to do much because of school. His favorite is small game, like squirrel and rabbit. He also loves deer hunting, sadly he hasn't got one yet this year. He can only hunt on our property as...
Presents are purchased, not wrapped. I will wait till the last minute for that because I hate it. No tree, we never put one up till Xmas eve and it down by the day after,...no decorations outside, no cards to mail,...no big dinner. Looks I am about finished! :)
Yea,.. the deer repellant works good till it rains,...oh and rabbits,..we have them furry things running everywhere! We have tried to get some guys to bring their rabbit dogs and get in some practice up here, but no go. My son tries to shoot them, but they're too quick for him! Rabbits like to...
Sounds right! Sounds like a good bit of corn too! Now you have to worry about the weather and varmints,....deer :rant,...electric fencing didn't keep them out of my corn patch,..but we did fry a squirrel! :lau
I believe it would be a good bit of corn,...I believe you would get 2 to 3 ears per stalk on just about any type of field corn. Figure how many rows you can plant with what you have, spacing and length of rows,..then figure how many plants per row and then times 2 ears of corn per plant. A math...
