My first thought was correct. My brain is in messed up blood sugar mode so I reverse image searched that to be sure.
That's one of those you follow signs and ignore everything else
Business Center didn't have eggs Saturday. Regular Costco didn't either when we were there yesterday.
I got my new egg cartons yesterday. Nice to not have the eggs rattle in the big carton anymore. The bantam cartons take up less space, too. Silkies have picked up laying with the extra light.
Wheat doesn't form seeds here. The seed heads are empty. I was surprised it doesn't even get to the milk stage.
We are the wrong climate here. East side of the mountains it does great
Another loaf cooking right now. Maybe the bread machine wasn't a good idea. Hubby gets a bit too excited.
On the plus side, I can manage to use it mostly one handed. Tested this morning to check.
I can't make biscuits one handed so that's good.
It's possible to get them. I know someone who uses kamut and einkorn to make bread. Bob's Red Mill probably carries several ancient varieties. They seem to carry everything
We had tamales last night and today for lunch. Didn't make them. There's a family that sets up a stand on a corner of a back road going to the feed store all the time. We just grabbed a few because hubby really wanted tamale, damn the salt.
Some of them. I always check how long for growing season. Going to try luffa but its going to be under hoop so I can cover with greenhouse plastic.
Squash grows very well here. Sometimes needs a night tarp in September.
If seal and looks are good they shouldn't be dangerous. Quality is lost over time. Fruits lose their flavor. Even jams where sugar is added that helps preserve the flavor.
Today was my first time using a bread machine in almost 20 years. My old one had issues.
This one seems to work quite well.
I forgot to add any salt. Was just going to reduce it and forgot it. Top was deformed. It tastes pretty good though. Hubby wants more.
If you strip the vanes from the feather shaft, you can use them as a lower quality stuffing for pillow or such. It's a lot of work.
Could make feather wreaths. Feathers take dye well.
I don't keep the feathers when I butcher. They can compost
