Very well said Farmer Chick!!! :clap
For my children I discipline them all differently. They're all unique individuals, and one I can just look at sternly and it's like her world has ended (my drama queen) others need privileges taken away, others need physical labor, etc.etc.etc. It's our...
yeah, and is it haunted? When we lived in GA we lived in a 150 yr old farm house, it was so cool, but it was haunted, in an ugly way... I couldn't move away fast enough from that place!
I can make a good pie crust, it's just much easier and less time consuming to purchase the premade roll out kind! I only make homemade for apple pies b/c I like it thicker and it reminds me of my grandma's apple pies.. it's just not the same unless I make it homemade.
The Holiday Grand Plan.... http://organizedchristmas.com/holiday-grand-plan
that's the website. I think you can print up the lists off of there, but I don't b/c I'd forget to go there every week and do it! So I joined the Yahoo Group:

Great tips above! I forgot to mention that my DH would take the $$ that he typically spent on cigarettes every week, and he set it aside in a vacation envelope. You could do something similar. Like pampering things (massage, manicure, pedicure, splurging things)
I have to share this.... I hope it's not too inappropriate, sorry ahead of time.
But when DH and I were first married, and I'd make cream of wheat for breakfast it worked better than viagra. So we've always joked about it being a natural viagra for him. Now, 5 kids later, I no longer make...
Top of my to-do list... that's a tough one, my to do list is SOOOOO long at this point!
I guess get the outside ready for winter would be priority, then the inside.
Our well house needs to be rebuilt before it starts freezing up. FIL backed his truck into it and tore the front off of it...
What pretty chics! Nice treat you're giving them!
www.frugalabundance.com is where I've seen about a family making soymilk how you are. Not sure if they have any recipes that could help you there or not, but check it out. They use their soymilk maker to also make rice milk and nut milks.
Hey roosmom, I think I asked you in another thread, (or maybe a PM?.. I dunno, been so out of it this week) anywasy, I asked (wherever) where abouts are you at in the U.P.? We were up there for work last weekend, it's beautiful up there!
DH quit in the name of frugality... waaay back in the day when the price was going up close to $2 a pack. It's only b/c of his stubborn nature! LOL! He said "I'll NEVER pay $2 a pack, that's crazy!" and he didn't!
Anyways, he got down to 2 a day and said the same thing that I quoted you...
I'd like to have one of those bicycle clothes washin' thingy majiggy's. I would be one of those who'd like to exercise while washing clothes, I'm sure my kids would as well! Of course I'd keep my electric washing machine for backup when I got sick of cycling 10 hrs a day w/ all the dang...
lol! I too am addicted to iced coffee (though haven't tried D.D.'s) I do know that you can buy Dunkin Donuts brand coffee at the grocery store now! Brew your own, and put it in a container in the refrigerator. When you're cravin' some, pour over ice! Or if you know you'll be running errands...
slaw dogs!!!!!! YEAH!!!! :weee
We found out about those by accident! We'd moved to GA for a job transfer. I was pregnant and craving Dairy Queen... so DH drove me 50 minutes to the nearest Dairy Queen (thankfully someone at our church told us about this location, b/c I was devastated to be...
Our newspaper had coupons for some a few weeks ago. Buy 3 packs, get one free. I used that yesterday finally. It took 3 wks to use it b/c the shelves were almost empty at every store I checked at.
