I got a couple of cuttings about a month ago and planted them in pots to get them started. One of them is putting out leaves, but the second one didn't make it. I'm really thrilled that the one made it though. It's called a Bronx Seedless- supposedly a Concord hybrid (but seedless?).
Try perennial hibiscus (hardy to zone 4) or Rose of Sharon (zone 5). Both are members of the mallow family as is tropical hibiscus. They all have medicinal benefits, though now all the same ones.

We grind what we need about 1 week at a time. We've found that the fresher the flour is, the better it tastes, similar to fresh-ground coffee as opposed to the stuff you buy at the store. It only takes a few minutes to grind enough for a couple of loaves of bread.
