We May Want to Start Stocking up on Petroleum Products

Hurricanes, wars, etc. they'll use any little excuse to stick it to consumers, certainly nothing new.The Middle East seems to always be in turmoil. It's true, wouldn't take much for the whole region to ignite. That would really give the big oil boys a reason to hammer what tiny bit of economic...

Absolutely Dragonlarual, basic math and reading for sure.Education is a good thing, but we will likely be needing simple survival skills, sooner than we care to think. In the near future having plenty of money, may or may not meet our needs, i'm not counting on it.I still fish and garden, and...

Thanks for helping Pirtykitty..:) Ya know, if food stamps and SSD were going to the intended Americans it was meant for, in need, it wouldn't be in so much trouble. Those south of the border, not here legally and armed with fake ID and other needed documents see it as oppurtunity, and are milking...

Mark, not at all disputing the numbers you posted.Just wondering why i'm always hearing and reading that the rich are paying next to nothing in taxes...It's really kinda confusing, who are we to believe..? Also a big run on SSD according to a NBC story i read this morning. The story said SSD is fast running out of funds.Apparently many who are unemployed long term, and disabled persons who lost jobs are seeking SSD benifits in large numbers.Sorry don't have a link to the news report.

Icu4dzs....lol...glad you decided not to lurk this one afterall...! Pretty lively thread...! I agree with alot of what you've said, but do feel the richer can pay a bit more in taxes, it would help plenty right now, but isn't really the answer to our problems. To many collecting govey(our money)...

Your exactly right Leta. Half the problem with the younger ones these days is that most feel they are above getting their hands dirty. Most wouldn't know what the heck an asparagus growing out of the ground looks like.In this world, with the very techy kids we have now, i think it would be a...

I disagree, while Boogity's big heart is to be seen as very humane, i would say its not right to call anyone dumb, handicapped/retarted or not.One should be grateful they are not in those persons shoes/situtation..! IMO

I think this qualifies - PLEASE HELP

I'm onboard with CrisonRose and FarmerChick..One is plenty in most backyard situations. Lets face it, most roosters are loud, agressive and annoying. If you feel a need for so many roosters, plan a move into the deep countryside, why should all your neighbors listen to that all day long in a city...
