    No we find that the meat holds very well, we have had hams in the deep freeze for over a year.( The bacon NEVER makes it that long.) The flavor and texture are fine.

    Heating issues

    First off make sure your chimmley in clean, if it is not you could cause a fire. I would place a small fan in front of it to move the warm air. 100 a month isn't to bad, well depending on if this includes your lights and water heater,we have a 5 bedroom double wide mobile that is 8 years old...
