    we picked up 7 of these last summer for 5 bucks apiece. have used them for some of the stuff mentioned here already. DH used 2 of them in his shop, just bolted old used pieces of plywood on top and viola work tables.

    Pea soup for canning

    I can pea soup every year my recipe sounds just like yours. I have never had a problem. It is very thick and does separate, I just mix with a little water and heat to a simming boil. Follow your canning book instructions and it should be fine.
