So the hubbin and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary this weekend :woot..... and we can't think of anything to go do. We thought about going to Amish country but it takes so long to get there that it makes a day trip kind of a hassle and we're both too cheap to pay for a hotel. Plus we'd...

That is one nice thing about where I work. Almost everyone has chickens or some kind of livestock. And the ones who don't buy eggs from the ones that do. So everyone is pretty level headed when it comes to things like this.
:ep :lau Wowza! I'm slowly finding out that all the good childhood songs/games I used to sing and play were bbbbbaaaaddd news!!! Like Ring Around the Rosy?? But then again, I was devastated when DH told me Scooby Doo (one of my favorite cartoons ever!) and Shaggy had the muchies for a...
This is such a good thread! I went out and bought a few of the grains and such mentioned here and now they're just waiting to be soaked. Thanks for all the great ideas!

Thanks FJ! :) We've just been really busy around the homestead and I've been working extra hours at work to help cover vacations. But, like you, we FINALLY got our garden in!!
