Does anyone have a good recipe for hot cocoa mix?
I was wanting to make some for the kids teachers this year for Christmas, and have looked all over the place for a good one, but can't seem to find one. :(
I don't even think we HAVE a yarn shop other than Michaels, or Hancock Fabrics... :-(
Maybe I'll have my momma pick some up before she comes here... she lives in Houston and is ALWAYS going to the yarn shop for something... How sad.. I have to get yarn from TX... LOL
Oh yes... this has to happen... LOL
My kids use bar soap and then either don't use a wash cloth or use the same one over and over and over and over... I picked one up from their bathroom the other day and I SWEAR it could have got up and walked itself to the laundry room!
I want to make the leap to line drying, tho I'm not quite sure that it's allowed here... of course... not that it REALLY matters because not many people follow the subdivision rules anyways, nor do any of us know how to change them because the company that "enforces" the rules is no longer a...
My husband said he really liked the look of the curls and how they bounce.
I didn't figure that I would be able to get my fingers thru it when I got out of the bath... and I was seriously surprised when they went right thru!
You can use coconut oil in homemade soap as well can't you? I'd thought about getting into soap making to put with my candles, but, I'm not sure if I want to do it or not.
I will check it out tho! Thanks for the heads up... and I hope to have no horribly gone wrong funny stories to tell with...
Wow!! This is an AWESOME thread!! I'm so glad it got revived as well. I'm going to tag it.
It wasn't for a Christmas present... but for Mother Day I made my mom a "family tree" except i used wire and then used a little birthstone bead for each of us kids. It turned out pretty nice and I put it...
I am a HORRIBLE worry wart... I'm not in the slightest bit offended.
Usually when I try something new I want to make sure that I'm doing it right.... then after a few tries I either decide that what I'm doing is either wrong or right, and how I can fix or improve on it if I want to...
Well... the little recipe thing said to put it on.. starting at the roots and then wait 30-60 minutes and then rinse out... so... that's what I did... then I tried the BS & ACV after. I don't have any coconut oil... don't even know where to get it! I've looked at the store and have never found...
So... I tried the BS&ACV along with the oil in my hair for an hour before. I'm amazed that I washed my hair, didn't use conditioner and I can still get my fingers thru it!!
I'm not sure I have the right BS to water ratio tho... it feels like there is still oil in my hair. I did 1...
Well... I guess we will go back with the bread flour, even thou it's a little bit more expensive. But not as expensive as a loaf of bread! :-P I have a couple of sacks of AP flour as well.
Husband decided that he wants to do meaties.... I told him that while I love rabbit meat, I will stay as far away from bunnies as I can because they are soooooooooooooooooooooo cute!
I also told him that I didn't think it was that great of an idea considering we have retired Greyhounds.... can...
Wow...... LOL
We have a pretty small house right now, (well okay, its not really small, just laid our funky! Our master bath and closet are bigger than our master bedroom! LOL) and we try to reuse and recycle as much as possible. We have it down to about 1 bag of trash a week for a family of 4...
When we go grocery shopping again next week, I will pick up some more bread flour. Like I said... I used to make bread all the time and hubs never complained... but then he did. LOL I guess we will see if he still complains after I switch to bread flour. If he does... I'm just going to call him...
So... I'll notice a difference the first time I use it??
I'm going to wash my hair today for the first time with BS&V... I'm seriously nervous! I know.. silly right?
