Small "ethical" companies that are really owned by huge corporations

It is not size that I worry about. It's ethics.

    In your opinion.........

I am not a stupid person, and don't like being told what I do and do not "get". I see what you see. I interpret it differently. It is all a matter of opinion, not fact. No one knows the future. Perhaps you don't get my point of view.

    In your opinion.........

Having faith in human nature along with a an optimistic outlook does not equal denial. You can expect the worst or expect the best and typically, you will get what you expect. This has been my experience lo these many years on this planet and it is not going to change now. People have been...

    In your opinion.........

I think humans are more resilient than people seem to think. And, I have faith in human nature. Clearly, many people do not. Sad.

    In your opinion.........

I don't think society will break down. I think it will continue to change, as it has changed from the dawn of time. It is the nature of life.

How Does Homeschooling Affect College Plans?

So, Ivy League schools accept homeschoolers? They aren't concerned with grades or class ranking? I am just surprised. Things have changed since I went to school.

How Does Homeschooling Affect College Plans?

I don't know much about homeschooling but I have been accepted to several colleges. The acceptance was based on grades and SAT scores. What would a homeschooled person offer in terms of grades? Mom is not going to be as objective as an unrelated teacher- clearly, if it helped my child to get...

    Minimum Amount of Clothing

I agree with this. I wear all of mine! There isn't enough room to keep things that are worn out, or don't fit, or that I really don't like. So sometimes I have to make some hard decision.

    Minimum Amount of Clothing

I like clothes too, and will keep as many as I can comfortably fit and find. I have a small walk in closet, a spare closet in the spare room; three dressers and one of those cubical things; and a coat closet. I can typically go about a month or more and not wear the same outfit to work twice...

Get out of my yard you darn kids!

I think climbing a tree is a rather more voluntary act than losing control of a car. I could be wrong.

Get out of my yard you darn kids!

I don't think you love misery. You should be able to come here and share things that are happening in your life and how you feel about them without being lectured that your feelings are somehow wrong. I hope things get better for you.
