    What do you do to cut expenses down?

    I just haven't bought socks, undies, bras in ages!! That is how cheap I am! I will have to splurge on some socks, soon. Wearing them in my gardening clogs has made them ready for the garbage! My daughter has a Savers near her, and she bought me a bra there (new with tags!).

    Don't know if you are into canning, but canned potatoes are wonderful. They taste great, have a wonderful texture- and are almost cooked- so they are great for a quick meal....Super handy for fried potatoes.

    All Saving Crockpot !!

    There is nothing better than coming home, after work and smelling dinner!! It takes a few extra minutes in the morning, but boy do I love having dinner ready! Crockpot's rule! I used mine in the summer and didn't notice that it made the kitchen much warmer. Certainly less than the oven would....

    Oh, Marianne! How lucky is that?? I had a cockatiel fly onto my deck once. I was able to lure him into a cage- and he was a wonderful pet for many, many years...but, a peacock!!! I would think I had died and went to heaven!
