Basically in a nutshell my wife left and lowered my cost of living astronomically. :D Edited to say our financial differences of opinion was one of the larger reasons for the split.
I don't think it is worth that much but I understand it costing that much. They may not have used that part many years so the demand for that part is probably low. Not alot of dishwashers last 17 years. Say the parts warehouse orders 200 of those pieces. The injection mold operator has to change...
Just a thought there has been quite a bit of bad gas lately. I got a tank in my truck and it is difficult to keep running. Its a pain but I am trying to run it out because of gas cost and disposal issues.
We don't have to be reported by nosy neighbors here. They have an officer constantly patrolling in a gas guzzling ford explorer. His only job is to look for ordinance violations and condemn homes. He will give you a ticket for yardsales, grass over ten inches tall, untagged or uninsured vehicles...
You don't see many yard sales in my city anymore. Between the fact that you are only allowed 4 two day permits per year and the rain being unpredictable no one is bothering anymore.
With all due respect I will gladly stick with my cfls. While they do have a small amount of mercury in them they offset alot of mercury emissions from coal plants. They are not perfect but they are a step in the right direction. If anyone is worried about mercury only use digital thermometers...
