What about an olive meat loaf (like the kind you buy in the deli meat section)??
I know lots of people make their own homemade bologna(actually theres a recipe around here or BYC for it),... why not an olive loaf?? :cool:
I think its a great idea!
Some people dont have that much freezer space... so if they want to stock-up on meat.... its a perfect way to do it.
I'm learning how to can this spring and trust me... canned meat is soooo on my list...
You can make soups/stews/ casseroles ...etc... with it.. :thumbsup

You could try to soak them in baking soda and water...
I'd probably use them to store animals feeds.. but i can imagine there are lots of things you can use them for..:)
People didnt have gas back in the day. Horses and man power were used for transportation and plowing/harvesting crops.
My problem is having a small yard that wont sustain a horse... :/
