Not as nice but, I have drilled two small holes near the bottom of the bottle and suspended an incense stick with a car key ring. With a little painting you can make it a little decorative. They sell these for 20-30 in the alternative type shops.
Nice Ideas, I want a kiln now!
I have 2 500gal Totes that used to hold fabric softener. (Basically Animal Fat). I shortened the downspouts to pour into these. Works well for the garden with a conversion down to to water hose size.
A local gardening warehouse sells their old potting soil for 10.00 for a pickup truck load. The soil although still soft is tired. We get several truck loads and dump it into the garden in piles.
During the late fall/winter we let the chickens run in our fenced in garden. They spread this out...
Yeah the grow bags sold on television is not worth the cost. They are too small for the roots and they break down from the elements after one season.
My neighbor does this with 5gal buckets though. He uses 4x4 posts with an iron bar across the top as they are not easily moveable. Every spring...
Yeah how is the gosling? One of my chicks last year was bad about getting pasty. I shaved it's bum with a pair of old dog clippers. It looked funny but, worked.
I researched into it a little. The one I was checking out had a switch to go between veg oil and diesel. I was freaked out knowing I would eventually shut it off while using oil and have a clogged up vehicle.
:gig
I think one room was the old guys liquor parlor. I found a ton of liquor bottles there when I went back after posting and checked it out again. Maybe an old moonshiner. To get to that room you have to get on your hands and knees and go through a secret door in the closet and down a crawl space...
Honestly Chrysler and GM made too many cars that left a bad stain in everyone's mouth. The PT Cruiser is the biggest piece of junk I've ever owned. I do realize it was not from their high end vehicles (which still have tons of issues) but, having the head gasket blow at 17,000 miles and then...
It is hard sometimes to tell what is American built. My dad's Ford Ranger was built in Japan. My Honda Ridgeline was built in Alabama. Our Chrysler PT Cruiser was built in Mexico. My mom is looking at a Toyota Camry (small car). It was built in Indiana.
If you take the BMW cars built here in...
I'm behind all of you. We will probably start putting shelves up in our 2nd house and use it as a storehouse. Just a bunch of canned stuff down the stairs to the side right now.
Maybe a little of both. Perhaps a few bags of dried beans too! If it were a national emergency or global exactly how much would gold be worth vs necessities? Give me all your gold and I'll give you a chicken dinner!
Reminds me of an old twilight zone episode. Four bank robbers steal a million...
I do those too. Also when the conditioner has a little clingy to the sides and bottom I fill halfway up with water and shake, put a few drops of my favorite oil. Makes a good leave in conditioner for months.
My grandfather drilled a hole in the lids. He spray painted the jars kinda semi-transparent and series wired lights into them. He hung them on his porch when he was ready to get his fiesta on. Usually he had made a lot of homemade wine and moonshine. All the relatives would stop by and whoop it...
Doesn't matter to me. I'm sure I won't object either way. I find the whole vault, service, people crying bizarre. I want a clown then and bunnies in gift cages!
Very nice way to be buried. My uncle was done this way last year. He wanted a maple tree tho.
