From my personal experience, if the trees on that property are a big part of what makes your property special for you.........you should buy it (as long as the price is not ridiculous of course). We live in the suburbs, but were lucky enough that we had an undeveloped 9 acre lot behind us. It...
I got 2 stick blenders, one from my mom and one from my cousin, for soap making. I was going to return one, but I think it would be good to have a backup. I got a couple of soft, warm sweaters and some fuzzy socks. I love fuzzy socks! From DH, I'm getting exactly what I wanted. I had told him I...
This house is stunningly beautiful. The craftsmanship is amazing. I'd love to have a tiny house with this kind of style, but I'd need it to be a little bit bigger. This is just a little too small for me. It looks like it around 100 sf and I think I'd need at least twice that, but about 350 sf...
I love the tiny house concept. I lived in a camper trailer for 19 months. I almost didn't want to move in to the house (notice I said almost, I'm not completely crazy). I also had a very tiny studio apartment when I was in my early 20's. I can do small spaces. I actually enjoy figuring out how...
Hi Soybean! Welcome to the site. :D If you check in often you will get a lot of good advice here. I'm just a beginner myself, but I know a thing or two about not having a lot of money!! First off, I don't consider $10K to be all that bad, although some people might, I've had friends who had to...
Thanks! I love my boys. Glad to hear your new gal is getting along well with Lucee. I was pretty sure that if Beaux could except Ricky into his house that Molly would be ok getting along with Lucee, especially since is was Lucee's house first. They are going to have lots of fun together. :)
:welcome Welcome from Louisianan. Hope you learn lots on this site and have a good time too. I know I have. I have tow rotten mutts too. One is a mini schnauzer and the other is a pit bull. We also have two turtles, my DH, and my mom living here with me and the dogs.
Here is another post with my baby boys. I have been on a couple of threads lately where we were discussing our dogs, so here are mine. Beaux is our pit bull and Ricky is our black miniature schnauzer.
I resized these. I don't know why they are so big.
PLINK, PLINK, PLINK.........FIGS ARE DONE! :weee
Ok, so I'm gonna start on the marmalade in a little while, but turns out I will have to leave the house, but only because I decided to make a different marmalade, so now I need a couple of things from the store. I'm having a good day. :D
Nope. Don't have to go anywhere today unless I want too, and I don't think I want to. :D Gonna to water the tomatoes in a bit and already picked a bunch of figs this morning. Gonna clean the house a bit, take the Christmas decorations outa the attic, make fig jam and marmalade, and do something...
I've never had a schnauzer until now, and
I'll tell you, he is a hand full, but I just love him. He has such a happy bouncy personality. I am not a small dog kinda person. I consider Beaux to be a small dog and he weighs 70lbs, but I am enjoying this 19lbs little guy very much.
Oh my, I haven't posted anything in a while! Still have not made the orange marmalade.........what a surprise. Now I have lemons and grapefruit from my grandmother's trees. I took the day off of work tomorrow. I should be the only one home most of the day, so I should be able to get to this...
Beautiful new addition you have there. I have a pit bull and a mini schnauzer. They get along great. Beaux (my pit) is def the boss, but little Ricky doesn't put up with any crap from him and is not afraid of him, so it works out great. I wouldn't worry too much about her with the little ones...
