When my kids eat I tell them to eat untill they are full.You have to train them just like any animal or husband. Sorry but I'm not a short order cook. If you want something more than the three large meals I prepare you can make it yourself.:rolleyes:

I agree. I'm VERY poor. Buying healthy means buying less. A hard sell for my husband with the huge appetite.

Yeah I would say it sounds like some of ya'll are just doing too much. Fertilizing ALL the time can be a bad thing. I live in OH where we have really crappy clay soil, but we hardly fertilize at all. We don't always have the best results but I'd say leaving it alone can do a lot. Just keep it...

Yet more proof that how you parent your kids makes all the difference. My brother-in laws family are old school farm folk but the ONLY things they would eat was meat, potatoes, bread, pasta, and cheese.......the occasional corn.They (my sister and BIL) have tried to get them to eat anything...

Yes I would say if your kid is morbidly obese then there is a disconnect somewhere in your relationship with your children. But foster care? That's a bit harsh isn't it? Maybe they should just do involuntary counseling? I honestly don't know though......I would feel uncomfortable telling...
