Lordie I just love you. You must have been a cheap date - it doesn't take anything to make you hop, skip, and jump for joy. (Not that I'm calling TBM nothing, you understand).
:lau
free - you are getting sleepy. Watch the pendulum swing, listen to my voice. You must have ducks, you must have ducks. Ducks are delicious, ducks are cute, you must have ducks. :caf :pop :caf
Have you got them yet? :lau
We have some kids living 2 houses over from us that just love to visit (and pester) us and our next door neighbor. They love the rabbits and chickens - like digging worms for the chickens, etc. Doesn't matter what we already have planned or are already doing, they want us to stop and "play"...
I knew it - there's the ads back. Good thing I don't pay attention to them.. I dont even go to BYC anymore. Those ads are in the middle of the pages (or at least they were).
I don't know what Gods or Goddesses I have working in my favor, but I don't get the ads anymore at all. Oh No, now, I've alerted someone and they'll flip that switch and they'll be back again. :hit
Gosh I didn't even realize peaches grew there. We have a few orchards here in E. Tenn. but not many. I used to get a big box free when I worked in S. Ga. One of the supervisors at Levi's always brought me a box. I didn't know how to appreciate them then.
Don't you just love when shadowy memories start to clear up.
I'm having the oposite reaction. I remember things my mother told me and now that her mind is slipping somewhat, she doesn't ever remember telling me - or just says it never happened. I don't know if she's the problem or if I am. lol
Thanks to you all for supporting your local farmers. I am just drained from the heat when I have to be out picking the okra, beans, squash - and I do it early morning. Hubby works out in the 95+ temps all day long. It's worth it when we have wonderful customers who ask us how to cook things...
You beat me to it. Just think of the money we could make.. We could put her in a carnival along with the bearded lady and the man who could bend himself into a shoe box.
LovinLife - some netting over those berries will do wonders in keeping birds out, but watch it - snakes get caught up in it.
Speaking of snakes - I found one in my hens' nest with an egg inside it. Yes, I screamed. Yes, hubby killed it. No, I'm not sorry, it gave me a heart attack. I know...
