I've never needed to soak anything for my garden although I'm limited to what I can grow in Zone 3-4 so I stick to basics and things that I know will grow fine.
I have finally kicked the coffee habit by switching to chicory coffee. Caffeine and me just don't jive well. Only 1 cup of regular coffee on an empty stomach would make me feel nauseous and lightheaded like I would puke and pass-out at the same time. I could only have it after I'd eaten. But I...
I've given deod/antiperspirant as well. Tom's makes my pits break out, the Crystal only works if I reapply it 15x per day. Washing is really the only thing that does work, but I'm not going to do that repeatedly though the day unless I have to go somewhere REALLY important. I just don't care if...

Edit: FWIW I have been working with him and where he's having trouble is precisely the area the book tackles that I haven't been...
I'm suspicious of any infomercial... I've had several people recommend the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons so we're going to give that a try this fall. My son just turned 4. I'd have liked to started him earlier but he just wasn't interested until now. Keeping it fun and simple...
