Um.... he is gonna have to stand on something to... um.... um... do the deed? :D
Love his name. My mom raises Biewer dogs and her stud dog is Lil' Dude.
I agree about setting priorities. Family first, then pets, then whatever livestock you can manage without risking your life. It would be heartbreaking to lose animals, but your life (and your family) is more important than trying to get every last critter away to safety.
He just tries the door handles and then leaves, thank goodness. No sign that he's gone into the shed or taken anything else. We think it's time for a booby trap (and the cop agreed!). We're thinking some kind of high voltage shock when he touches the metal door handle! :somad
Found this wrapped around our screen door handle last night - eewww! Baby rat snake - we let him go.
Also, the thief came back AGAIN last night. Got a really good video of him this time. He even brought his own refreshments this time. Here are screen shots:
Busy week. First of all, the weather has been heavenly! No a/c this week, and I have been leaving the front door open so the dogs can go in and out at their leisure instead of pestering me every 10 minutes. My desk and computer is in front of a window, so I've had a bad case of "fall fever" this...
Oh, I had to laugh at the that! My parents met when my dad, a senior in high school and working at a pharmacy after school, delivered a prescription to my mom's house. She was only 14, but my dad says she answered the door flirting like a harlot. They got married when she was 17 and have been...
I had no dysfunction in my family either. I had a wonderful childhood. My parents are still very happily married, I've been happily married for almost 28 years, and we're all close.
But Beekissed may have a valid point. Who knows. I just wonder about all the folks who are living dysfunctional...
That's funny. My homemade soap cuts all the odors EXCEPT hubby's deodorant smell... oh well, at least it's not a stinky odor. Does make me wonder what the heck is in his deodorant though. And I always double up the amount of soap for his work clothes.
Thanks for the link. I would love a modern version of their kitchen complex, especially a meat processing area. I hate to cut up and wrap venison in my kitchen. It would be great to have a nice large cooled room with plenty of room for hanging and a large stainless steel table and sink. And an...
I did a search today and there are tons of the zinc lids for sale... so I guess people aren't keeling over from canning with them. I don't see how they could be a problem as long as they are in good shape, the lid does not come into contact with the food at all.
I do have one Mason jar that has...
We must be around the same age.... I'm a Captain Kangaroo girl too! :D
Wow, all that traveling sounds great. Sometimes I think I'd like to do that, but then I know I would be homesick. Maybe one of these days I'll at least get to do a 'round the U.S. motor home tour and then go home.
