I am pretty sure it is just an internet rumor. From what I understand, the H1N1 vaccine is made much like the seasonal flu vaccine. I have had to take live vaccines for other viruses when I went overseas. Have not become sick yet. People rarely get sick from them. If they do, it is not a...
It is 11 oz and has 114 one teaspoon serivngs. One teaspoon is really not enough so end up adding about a TBSP or two. The brand is Bill's Best.
I like to use boullion and powder not because I miss meat. Never really liked the taste to begin with except for maybe ham or bacon. It just...
I've tried and can't find any. Even looked over the VegWeb recipes and forum. Nothing! I'll try to look some more. Maybe I am too cheap and others don't think this is too expensive. $5.12 for a canister of Chin'sh seems pretty dear to me. Also, bouillon is about two to three dollars for a...
My mom's sewing machine has a portion of the base (not sure of terminology) you remove so that you can sew sleeves, etc. It allows you to manuever. I am sure you can also use a hand held sticher to do the work.
The poor, starving college student would be me
I am trying to convert some recipes to vegetarian. Figure this is cheaper than buying new cookbooks. Right now, I am usually use butter of margarine, liquid smoke and vegetarian beef or chicken boullion to get the bacon or having flavoring...
Ladytron, Zero 7, the Killers, White Stripes and Coldplay on workdays
British Light, Canadian Brass and not so famous classical composers on Sunday (Found many classical/instrumental albums for 99 cents back in the day when there was Microsoft Music store and Yahoo music. Back when you could...
I have quite a few pants that are wearing in the rear. They are still good otherwise. I just want to repair them to wear around the house. Bought some nicer pairs at Goodwill for leaving the house.
How do I repair them? I was thinking about sewing a panel of cloth to the underside of pants...
It is still warm in CA - was 80 again today and only gets down to 60s at night. I don't know if or when we will turn on the heat. Personally, unless it is below 40 at night, I don't see that need to turn on the heat. Plenty of clothes in the closet to layer on.
NutriMirror - I think I will try it.
Just cameback from Trader Joes. Great vegetarian stuff but very expensive. Splurged and bought some nice imported cheese. Also bought some Dr. Bronners soap for a dollar less than the grocery store. So I guess it evens out.
I do have 366 Delicious...
Huh! I was always told they were dangerous. Never tried to experiement on dogs to see. Funny, it was actually on the ASPCA website not to feed it to them. Haven't checked the site in a few years. Or maybe my memory is just shot. They also use to say that about avocados - give them heart...
Does anyone use FitDay or other free weight loss journals to help them plan meals? I have in the past but started to get obsessive with calories and had to take a break now and again.
Fitday seems to be the best. They give you complete information on nutritional data and don't judge your...
Well, here frost isn't really a problem. It seems like it will be a warm winter. We may not have any frost this year. Slugs! Slugs! I hate them too. My chickens usually take care of them...and my greens too. Planning on growing them under row covers.
I am trying to do everything on the...
