finally! washing machine works. a part of the wiring was rubbing against something in the machine and so it was down to exposed wires that were shorting out. replaced the wiring today and all is running as it should now.

i planted two small rows of peas yesterday and weeded part of that garden... i got a ways to go before i'm back up to speed. who would think that laying around all winter breathing would let me get so far out of shape? ok, ok, i did shovel a few times and do some exercises, but apparently not...

we usually buy 3-9 lbs at a time (we don't use margarine for baking any more - too much water in it). she also bought extra milk.
