The weather here is gorgeous. I feel almost guilty since I know not everyone has such balmy days right now. However come summer I will be crying around about the heat whereas most of you will be enjoying glorious weather.
Tiffany and I planted some bulbs indoors today on our lunch hour. Crocus...
My daughter and I planted some bulbs. The kind you do indoors on rocks in a glass dish. Maybe try something like that? Something to get you through until spring really has arrived?
Well we got the one showgirl chick, and then last night as I was about to go to bed, the second chick was out of the shell. It is a lovely little partridge silkie chick. My son named it banana pudding....said that is exactly what she looked like?
The last chick died in the shell without ever...
Fennel (seeds) are one of my favorite flavors. I know nothing about the actual plant though. "fennel bulb" is a completely foreign concept to me. Sounds yummy though.
Parsimonious. I love that you chose that word. I know exactly what you mean. I tend to save some things back and am afraid to use them. Glad you started though. If we don't try something, we never grow.
Today as I was walking to work, it was noticeably warmer. I usually wear a cotton pullover sweater over a t-shirt. I was actually warm enough to have to take off the sweater.
Someone was burning mesquite in their fireplace this morning. It smelled wonderful. And I laughed that anyone here would...
Yes I quite agree on the bacteria worry but no, these all have a lovely little chick in them. Luck is with us.
We have (drumroll please) one black showgirl chick with a vaulted skull. Adriana has named her Tantrum for the way she had that egg rocking and rolling. I suggested something more...
I hope you are feeling Good today. So sassafras burns hot? Hmmm... Interesting. Someone was burning mesquite today. I could smell it while I was walking to work. Smelled oh so good. (although I will confess it put me in mind of a steak).
Congrats on your eggzes. Nothing sweeter than those first eggs.
I was looking back at a comment you made earlier, about the U.S. Going through birthing pains. I think you are right.
La Grande, the land of milk and honey as far as I am concerned. I have two brothers and my mother who still live there. I also have a sister in Eugene. I love the diverse cultures there.
Someone gifted you all that Fiber?! Ddddddang! I love it when such good things just fall into our laps.
