Thanks everyone. If all goes well and the thunderstorms don't give me hail, I should have a ton of zuchs. We also cut them in half, scoop out the seeds, cook meatloaf or stuffing in them.

I hope to 1. Start raising my own heritage turkey so far I think I only have males.\ 2. Get all my canning done before my veggies become seed saving! 3. Learn enough to get bees for next year. 4. Get my fruit trees to more than one year old this time. 5. Improve my cheese making. So much I...

    Chamomile tea

I have the tea diffuser. I like the idea of drying in the car. In the summer in Wyo that might work but that would definantly get me the hillbilly nickname at work, I get it a lot now.:P But do you dry the whole plant or just part?

    Fermented Saurkraut?

I would call that cheap also. The last one I saw at an auction went for around 80 dollars. I can get a new one cheaper.

    Fermented Saurkraut?

I made most of my kefir from goat milk. I wish I could find cheap crocks here. If someone has one at an auction or garage sale they usually go way high. I was really excited a month ago to get a beautiful milk can for ten dollars until I got it home and they had been using it to store motor...

    Fermented Saurkraut?

Thanks everyone. I planted a ton of cabbage this year and wanted to make sauerkraut but didn't have a clue. Wanted to order a crock from Lehmans but can't afford it this year so these ideas will help. As far as Kefir goes I love that with cow and goat but ruined my grains so have to find more.

I am having a lupus "pitty party". Do ya wanna come?

Miss_The North, that is the best advice ever. Legally they have to give you all of your files. I'm a nurse and we have had people want files. They usually have to notify their legal dept but they are required to give them up. It is your stuff.

I am having a lupus "pitty party". Do ya wanna come?

Lupis is an autoimmune disease as is psorisis. The meds you were taking for the psorisis may have been helping all along with the Lupis. I have Ehler's Danlos which is also a connective tissue disease that can really affect your joints and heart and I have asthma. I am actually in better...

My sheep Dolly and a NEW SHEEP!!!

Ask anything, I don't know a ton but I know a lot of people smarter than me. I have never heard of a no more mouths to feed. Sheep generally are feed to someone's mouth. I understand that with horses, dogs, cats, etc. I am sure there is a reason but I have only heard of that at our Animal...

My sheep Dolly and a NEW SHEEP!!!

She looks very well taken care of. Most of my rescues needed lots of help. I keep getting told sheep are stupid but I think they are they are pretty smart. They know how to fly under the radar and stay out of trouble which my goats sure don't know how to do. She is very pretty.

My sheep Dolly and a NEW SHEEP!!!

I am glad it worked. I have some Navaho Churros I inherited and a "mutt" with great wool for spinning. I have 2 Dorpers that I just had to have when the price was right. My DD has a few Suffolks. I just love my goofy menagerie.
